Two trips to Walgreens 04/22

This afternoon I went to Walgreens. I purchased a bottle of Veet Hair Removal (regularly $6.99) on sale for $3.99. I had a manufacturer coupon for $3.00 off. I paid $.99. I also purchased a box of U by Kotex Regular 50 liners on sale for $3.49 (+ $2.50 Register Rewards). I had a manufacturer coupon for $1.00 off. I paid $2.49. After trying to use my $3 RR I had to buy something cheap so the computer would accept it. I bought a pack of M & M's on sale for $.69. Trip totalled $1.17 before tax, $1.99 after tax. I saved $11.50.

Tonight after Ethan's ball game I had $2.50 RR I wanted to spend at Wags (Walgreens). 12 pack of Cottonelle was on sale for $5.00 (reg $6.99). I had a Wags coupon for $1.00 off, a Manufacturer coupon for $1.00 off and $2.50 RR. Making my 12 rolls of toilet paper $.50. I had to buy ANOTHER bag of M & M's for $.69 in order for the register to accept my purchase with all of my coupons. My trip this time totalled $1.19 before tax, $1.67 after tax. I saved $6.69.

In the future I need to get something more useful than M & M's when I need a "filler" item. But, that's all part of being new at this and a part of the learning process.

I've shared my "coupon stores" with appx 10-12 people now. I hope some of them will jump on board with me and start saving money JUST LIKE ME! This can be a lot of fun.

On a sad note..... I decided to forego the $1.00 ink cartridge refills at Wags today. My printer's having so many issues I've pretty much decided to get a new, cheap printer that works with Windows 7 and actually prints.
